General Responsibilities:

At Spa on The Avenue, customer service is paramount; therefore, we are extremely selective about whom we hire to represent our business. In general, all employees are responsible for:

  • Interacting with clients as well as co-workers in a positive, professional and nurturing environment

  • Being reliable, loyal, organized, articulate team players

  • Participating in every required educational opportunity; this is crucial to your growth as a service provider, as well as the growth of the business, in providing exceptional services to our guests

 

Front Desk Coordinator Responsibilities:

This position is considered the heart of our business and is therefore highly selective. Prior salon or spa experience is helpful, but not necessary. However, some form of experience in high-end product sales and/or hospitality is required. Responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining a friendly personality with positive outlook

  • Presenting a polished appearance for our business that represents our mission to all who enter our Spa

  • Juggling numerous tasks throughout the day

  • Being open minded to learning new things and new ways of conducting yourself

Hair Department Responsibilities:

All hair department members must possess at least 3 years’ experience and all necessary licenses. Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in the growth process of the salon

  • Building clientele

  • Working as a team

  • Maintaining a positive attitude

  • Performing all areas of color applications and cutting services within a timely manner

  • Producing required product sales in relation to service sales

Massage Department Responsibilities:

*GUARANTEED HOURLY PAY + BENEFITS; rate of pay contingent on 3-month review. Although previous experience is not required, all massage department employees must hold the necessary licenses to perform their services. Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in the growth process of the salon

  • Building clientele

  • Working as a team

  • Maintaining a positive attitude

  • Providing a nurturing atmosphere within the Spa

  • Building customer relationships to result in client retention

  • Performing all areas of Spa services in order to meet and exceed expectation of guests’ needs

  • Producing required product sales in relation to service sales

Skin Care Department Responsibilities:

Although previous experience is not required, all skin care department employees must hold the necessary licenses to perform their services. Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in the growth process of the salon

  • Building clientele

  • Working as a team

  • Maintaining a positive attitude

  • Providing a nurturing atmosphere within the Spa

  • Building customer relationships to result in client retention

  • Performing all areas of Spa services in order to meet and exceed expectation of guests’ needs

  • Producing required product sales in relation to service sales

 

Nail Care Department Responsibilities:

Although previous experience is not required, all nail care department employees must hold the necessary licenses to perform their services. Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in the growth process of the salon

  • Building clientele

  • Working as a team

  • Maintaining a positive attitude

  • Performing all areas of nail services to meet the expectations of our guests within a timely manner

  • Producing required product sales in relation to service sales
