About the Program:
Our New Talent Program is designed for newly licensed individuals who are highly self-motivated and place them in an environment that will fast-forward their learning, education, technical and communication skills. The program will prepare individuals for real, behind the chair experiences that traditional schooling cannot teach. The end result -- placement within the Companies as a successful Silver Level Hairstylist with all necessary skill sets for innovative hair services and immediate client retention.
The timeline of our New Talent Program can be flexible and suited to the New Talent’s learning needs. Our New Talent Program is broken down into phases in order to excel as a successful Hairstylist. Mentors will work closely with their student to perfect subjects such as: blow-drying and styling, haircutting, color theory, corrective color theory trending techniques, effective consultations and social media presence.

Cathryn Mills @cats_creations_ontheave, Spa on The Avenue
Cat has been with the Spa on The Avenue team for 4 years. She earned her cosmetology license from the Robert Paul Academy. She offers men's and women's cuts, color, formal styling and keratin services. Her favorite service to perform is balayage highlighting because getting that perfect tone of blonde is super rewarding, for her and the client! Cat's clients leave feeling confident with a smile on their face.
Lisa Sautter @hairbylisasautter, Spa in The Valley
Lisa has been in the hair industry for 40 years and with the Salon by Debbie family for 24 of them. She helped Debbie to open the Spa in The Valley hair department in 2005 and has been a much sought after designer since. Her favorite part of the job is helping clients go on the journey to growing out their grey. Lisa has completed countless trainings and certifications throughout the years, some of them being Logics Master Colorist, KMS IQ cutting, bridal styling and curly hair cutting in locations such as New York and Paris. She has had her work published in Baltimore Magazine’s bridal features and has been nominated multiple times for Baltimore’s Best.
Lisa’s beauty philosophy is “keep it simple and natural, but change it up from season to season”. She believes consultation, clear communication and customer service is key to providing you with your best experience.
Morgan Flurry @morganflurryhair, Spa on The Boulevard
Morgan has been in the Hair industry for over four years and with the Salon by Debbie Spas family for over three years. She received her education from Paul Mitchell Academy and joined our New Talent Program where Morgan trained under Lisa Sautter. During the New Talent Program Morgan fine-tuned all of her skill sets and outshined in all technical abilities and retail knowledge. In 2020- Morgan was nominated for Best Stylist in Baltimore Styles Readers Choice Awards.
Morgan believes that your hair is the crown that you never take off. Enhancing your outer beauty reflects your inner beauty. A clear and in-depth consultation is the key Morgan needs for a great client experience. She will always give her clients her undivided attention so that she can ensure they receive the service they want. Morgan loves to create relationships with her clients and helping them find a look that feels like their best self.
Tiffiany Ward, Spa on The Boulevard
Platinum Level Stylist and Hair Department Manager
Tiffiany has had an amazing 26 years in the industry and has been working at Spa on The Boulevard since 2013. Tiffiany received advanced education at the Wella Academy in New York and graduated with her Wella Master Color Expert certification. She specializes in color and haircut transformations and has a passion for cutting short hair. Tiffiany has a philosophy- that at any age as long as you look in the mirror and love what your see that is what you should do. She loves the family atmosphere at the Spa, and you will always see Tiffiany assisting her team! The secret to her customer experience- listening and understanding her customers wants and needs.
Laura Marsh @ln.marsh710, Spa in The Valley
Laura started her career in hair styling with Spa in The Valley seven years ago. Blonding services, fashion colors, bridal styling and cutting are just some of her favorite services to offer. Continuing her education is paramount to Laura's success as well as utilizing her professional skills to maintain the integrity of her client’s hair. Laura is committed to exceeding her clients’ expectations all while making sure they are comfortable, relaxed and enjoying the spa atmosphere.
